For my Box Project I wanted to highlight the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Throughout history Russia has taken advantage of Ukraine and exploited their people for their own benefit, without it being brought to peoples attention. The artist that I used for inspiration was Kennard Phillips, as their pieces are often to do with politics and world issues. The main point I was trying to make is how Putin is slowly taking away parts of Ukraine. He has already taken away Crimea, which is rightfully Ukraines, and ever since 2014 the has been a war between Russia and Ukraine in eastern Ukraine, mainly Donetsk. The past Political leaders Stalin and Lenin are cheering him on and applauding him as they also took advantage of Ukraine. The bin in the bottom of the box shows how Russia does not need these parts of Ukraine and only wants it to keep a hold over Ukrainians.

There are many more injustices Russia has done, past and present, to Ukraine. This is just one.
